World Class Wreckin Cru Featured In the Straight Outta Compton Movie!

 

The World Class Wreckin Cru will be breifly featured in the upcoming biopic about the group NWA. Because Dr. Dre, DJ Yella and Ice Cube all stemmed from their beginnings with the World Class Wreckin Cru and because of Eazy E's relationship with the Wreckin Cru, the group will have featured scenes in the movie. The World Class Wreckin Cru was a group of DJ/Emcees hailing from Compton California during the Hip Hop Era of the Mid to late 80's that transfromed from Disco to G-Funk. They are considered one of the pioneer groups in West Coast Hip Hop History and played a significant role in helping to launch the careers of Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, CLI-N-TEL, Ice Cube and many other breakout artists from the West Coast.  The films release date is ste for August 2015.
